Quick, convenient, comfortable.

Excellent location, quick check in and check out. Very comfortable beds!!

No bathtub, no parking. Blanket wasn't warm enough for the winter, though its probably perfect for summer.

All in all the 2 day stay was fantastic, it was a week before the war

The very good location, sea front, good seimming pool on the top of the roof, the fantastic view from the roof, great stuff and wonderful choice of food for breakfast in the restaurant at the sea

The places in the room where you are not supposed to look at ( under the bed, beneath the minibar ) were not cleaned, some other mechanical issues apperead , but the stuff tried to solve the problems as much as they could

Great hotel, but 5 stars is a bit of a reach

The breakfast was great, really great view of the ocean and beach. It was my girlfriend's birthday and we received a free bottle of champagne twice, once in the room, and another time by the pool. The bathroom towels were great. The rooftop pool was amazing. The proximity to the beach is amazing. Tel aviv is sometimes not the easiest city to navigate and so being able to roll out of bed and onto the beach was an amazing plus.

For a 5 star hotel, we expected there to be parking, however this was not the case and we had to park far away. Understandingly this was a holiday weekend, but even so, we were promised ahead of time that hotel parking would be available. Also, I had called the hotel multiple time for birthday accommodations so that my girlfriend could be surprised when we first entered the room. I received mixed messages from the different staff each time I called, only to then not have anything in the room upon arrival and only after I asked again once in the hotel and ultimately the element of surprise was already gone. Also, for a 5 star hotel, it is expected that an employee would help with the luggage and bring it to the room but this never happened. I don't think some of these features are unique to this hotel in Israel. Overall, I think that the 5 star hotel category in Israel does not carry the same weight as it would in other Western countries.

This was a return visit. You couldn’t ask for anywhere safer and cleaner and lovely to stay during this stage of the Coronavirus. We were very fortunate to be in The Carlton at this very sad time. As everything was closing down and regulations tightening by the day the staff were all very good and considerate and optimistic. It was lovely to have breakfast served in the Blue Sky Restaurant at this time and look over the beautiful Tel Aviv skyline and to walk along the magnificent seafront with the varied scooters and bikes on the cycle path and the walkers and runners all exercising and to hear the waves breaking and to go in the beautiful park to see small groups of families playing relaxing isolating but looking happy. I wish good health to all the Carlton Staff who were so calm and reassuring especially Jeremy and Dima. We were to be the last guests when suddenly groups of stranded tourists arrived as all the other hotels were closing. They are truly ‘trapped in Paradise’ staying in The Carlton. BH it will be back to normal once again before too long.

This is applicable for religious Jews only. Without Shabbat elevator it’s a little bit complicated to live in the ninth floor. It’s the first time I encountered in this phenomenon and it’s a pity. Although the hotel is very nice I will not stay there again.
